Hello! I'm Coach Laura. I swam competitively for 16 years at several levels. I started in summer swim and had a lot of fun then decided to join my school's team. After doing summer and school swim for a few years, I moved into USA swimming. I swam for Sevier Aquatic Club for most of that time. In high school, I swam unattached for 3 years. All three of those years I went to Sectionals in butterfly and freestyle. The last two of those years I went to Futures for butterfly and freestyle. The last year, I went to Junior Nationals for butterfly, freestyle and the IM. From there I went on to swim at King University for a year and Milligan University for 2 years. 

I have been coaching for five years. I am currently the head coach for Knoxville Central High School and Gresham Middle School. I started coaching for them in the fall season of 2018. I started coaching for MAFD in summer of 2019. I started as an assistant coach and then became head coach in summer of 2021. 

I am currently doing student teaching with Johnson University, having just graduated in December. I am working towards completing my licensure for K-12 Physical Education. I plan to pursue a master's degree in both teaching and athletic administration. 

I love swimming. It's been a large part of my life since I was six years old. I have a passion for making sure kids have the opportunity to learn how to swim and providing them with the space to nurture those skills and succeed.

Hello, my name is Austen Reid and I have been swimming for about 15 years.  I currently swim for Centre College, having qualified each of four years for finals at mid- and end-season meets. I have also been team captain for 1 year. 

Before college, I swam summer league with National Fitness Center for 10 years and year round with ACAC for 8 years. During my time with ACAC I qualified for both South Easterns and Senior Sectionals.  I also qualified for State in each of the 4 years in high school. 

I have coached for the Flying Dolphins for one season.
